Hindi letters or Hinglish?
Hindi in its own letters (देवनागरी) suits news, education and anything for viewers who read Hindi. Most Reels, Shorts and YouTube videos from India are captioned in Hinglish instead, Hindi typed in English letters, because that's how people read on their phones.
Both come from the same transcription, so you can switch between them and keep the one that suits the video.
How the Hindi subtitles are made
Accurate mode sends only the sound of your video to an AI speech model (Whisper), which writes out what's said in Hindi with each line's timing; nothing is kept. For Hinglish, an AI language model writes those lines in English letters, keeping the English words people use in Hindi (video, phone, subscribe) in English.
The subtitles are drawn into the video on your device, with fonts that show Hindi letters, so the video itself is never uploaded. Long videos can also be transcribed on your device, more slowly.
