Terms of service

Clip Utils provides tools for video, audio and images that run in your browser. The free tools need no account. Processing happens on your device, so speed and limits depend on your device and browser.

The exception is Accurate mode in Auto Subtitles, which transcribes the audio on a server (see the privacy policy). It is free with fair-use limits (currently up to 15 minutes per video and a daily number of videos). These limits, and the service itself, may change, and when it is busy or a limit is reached the subtitles are made on your device instead. Please don't use automated means to get around the limits.

• Only use files you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for your content and for how you use the results.
• Don't use the tools for anything illegal, or to infringe anyone's rights (for example copyright).
• We don't claim any rights to your files or results.

ClipUtils Pro is optional, sold as a 7-day pass or a monthly subscription. What it includes and its prices (the pass ₹49 in India and $1.49 in most other countries; the monthly plan ₹149 and $3.99 a month; taxes included; some countries see a local price) are shown on the Pro page and at checkout before you pay.

• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, which also handles taxes, receipts and refunds; its terms apply to the payment.
• The 7-day pass is a single payment: Pro is on for 7 days from the purchase, then turns off by itself. It doesn't renew and there's nothing to cancel.
• The monthly subscriptionrenews every month until you cancel it from "Manage or cancel subscription" (Dodo Payments' billing portal). If you cancel at the end of the billing period, Pro stays on until then and you won't be charged again. If a renewal payment fails and isn't completed, Pro turns off.
• Pro is delivered as a license key: it turns on in your browser after payment and is sent to you by email. It works on up to 3 of your own devices and may not be shared or resold.
• A price change applies to passes bought after it; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Monthly subscribers hear about a change by email at least 30 days before it applies to them, and can cancel before then.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

We work to keep the tools running and accurate, but we can't promise they will always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose. We may change or remove features. If we remove a Pro feature during a month you have paid for, you can ask for a refund of that month.

The service is provided "as is". Keep your own copy of your original files. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
