British Text to Speech: Free UK Accent Voices, MP3 Download
ClipUtils reads your text aloud in a British accent: Emma, a woman's voice, and George, a man's, both natural UK English AI voices. Download it as an MP3 for videos, lessons or narration. Free with no sign-up and no watermark, up to 2 minutes of speech at a time, as often as you like.
Your text never leaves your device. How?
The voice is made by an AI model that runs in your browser, so your text isn't sent anywhere. The model (about 92 MB) downloads once from Hugging Face and is then kept on your device. (On phones, it's made on our server instead, for speed, and isn't kept.)
0 / 10,000 characters
Free, no sign-up, no watermark. The first time, the AI voice downloads once (about 92 MB); after that it starts in seconds, even offline.
How to turn text into speech with a British accent
Type or paste your text
Up to 10,000 characters at a time: a script, a story, a lesson or a message.
Pick a British voice
The page starts on Emma; George is the man's voice. Tap ▶ to hear each one, then choose a speed.
Make the voice
On a phone, the voice is made on our server in seconds. On a computer, the AI voice downloads once (about 92 MB) and the speech is made in your browser, sentence by sentence.
Listen and download
Play it on the page and download it as an MP3 (or WAV), or turn it into a video with captions.
What people use a British voice for
Voice-overs for YouTube videos, Reels and faceless channels that want a UK sound; narration for lessons, audiobooks and presentations; and English listening practice with a British accent.
For a video, make the voice here and open it in Text to Video to add captions that follow every word, or put the MP3 in any video editor.
How the British voice is made
The voices come from Kokoro, an open-source AI speech model that's free to use, even commercially. Your text is turned into British English sounds (the r after a vowel left soft, "tomato" said the UK way) and the model speaks them in the voice you picked.
On a computer it all runs in your browser, with nothing uploaded; the model (about 92 MB) downloads once from Hugging Face and is kept, so the next time it starts in seconds. On phones, the same voice is made on our server in seconds (through DeepInfra), and your text isn't kept.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a free text to speech with a British accent?
Yes, this one: Emma and George speak British English, free, with no sign-up and no watermark. Up to 2 minutes of speech at a time, as often as you like, downloaded as an MP3.
Is there a British man's voice?
Yes, George. Emma is the British woman's voice.
Can I use the voice on YouTube?
Yes. The voices come from Kokoro, an open-source model under the Apache 2.0 license, so the audio can be used in videos, including monetized ones.
Is my text uploaded?
On a computer, no: the AI runs in your browser, so your text never leaves it (only the model, about 92 MB, is downloaded once). On phones, your text is sent to our server to be spoken in seconds, and it isn't kept. So is Hindi typed in English letters, to be written in Hindi letters first.
How long does it take?
On a phone, seconds: the voice is made on our server. On a computer, the AI voice downloads the first time (about 92 MB), then a paragraph takes under a minute.
